Honourary Award: Given to an individual or organization who is not a member of CIRA Ontario but has made a positive contribution to the Association; has networked with CIRA Ontario for three or more years; and possesses a strong belief in intramural recreation and shows it through their actions.

Ontario Sport Awards:

	Murray Spears 2011 ((The Syl Apps Volunteer Achievement Award: The Syl Apps Volunteer Achievement Award recognizes volunteers, nominated by Provincial Sport Organizations that have made an outstanding contribution to the establishment and/or ongoing development of groups, clubs, facilities, projects and/or special programs in the Province of Ontario).)
	Nestle Canada 2010 (Corporate Citation: This award is presented annually by the Province of Ontario to corporations that have been a leader in supporting sport through sustained corporate involvement over several years.)

Outstanding Intramural Awards

This year a select number of CIRA Ontario members have been recognized for their outstanding intramural programs. 71 CIRA Ontario members have been presented with recognition banners. Programs must offer a varied line up of activities, promote fun, active participation, fair play and involve students in a leadership capacity. Applicants must be a member of CIRA Ontario.
