CIRA Ontario Awards
We know that some people go well above and beyond in supporting CIRA Ontario's mission of promoting fun, active participation for all; and that they do it for the well-being of kids!
We want to acknowledge and honour that, and therefore give Outstanding Intramural Achievement Awards to selected schools that provide great intramural programs for their students.
JOHN BYL BURSARY AWARD
CIRA Ontario is pleased to announce the John Byl Bursary Award. In recognition of John’s incredible dedication and leadership, CIRA has created an annual bursary award valued at $500. This award will be presented to one of our Intramural Awards recipients (see above), in recognition of their exemplary contributions to their school’s intramural program. The financial award is intended for schools to further enhance their Intramural program through student recognition, awards, and/or equipment.
The first recipient of the John Byl Bursary Award is
TOMKEN ROAD MIDDLE SCHOOL
Mississauga, Peel District
Congratulations to the staff and students of Tomken Road!!
We also give out several individual awards to acknowledge those who go well above and beyond in bringing active participation opportunities to all.
